MSI GX620 And GX720 Gaming Laptop


MSI has introduced a couple new gaming laptop based on the new Intel Montevina/Centrino 2 platform, known as the GX620 and GX720. Both of models features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a turbo overclocking button, up to 4GB DDR2 RAM (upgradeable), a nVidia GeForce 9600M GT 512MB graphics card, a 320GB of hard drive, Draft-N wireless, HDMI output, built-in 2.0 Mega Pixel Webcam, and Blu-ray drive option. The difference between two models above is — the GX620 comes with 15.4-inch LCD display, while the GX720 has 17-inch TFT-LCD widescreen display boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixel and 16:10 of aspect ratio.

Toshiba's the Qosmio X300



As with most gaming machines, the X300 comes packed with premium specifications, from the latest 2.53GHz Centrino 2 processor and 4GB DDR3 RAM to dual 250GB hard drives and a 17-inch WXGA TFT display. It also features an onboard 512MB Nvidia GeForce 9700M GTS GPU which should handle most new games smoothly, though there is no mention on whether it will support Nvidia's PhysX technology.
The X300 is expected to retail at S$4,099 (US$2,743.09) from end August.

Maingear eX-L Gaming Laptop


The eX-L gaming laptop by Maingear is a beast, possesing a 3.06 GHz Core 2 Extreme X9100 processor, armed with a couple of ATI GPUs or a single NVIDIA unit, with a 17" display, built-in speakers with subwoofers and 802.11n WiFi. Pricing and availability have yet to be revealed but expect to fork out a beastly sum of dough for this one.

Evesham Zieo NX600-HDX

Who would have thought Evesham could have give us a gaming laptop, well guess what they have and the Zieo NX600-HDX is one hell of a gaming laptop. Ok lets us get the first thing out of the way first the price, you are looking at £1900 that that over $3800 has that stopped your heart yet. The NX600-HD was already a good laptop but the NX600-HDX, with the X meaning Xtreme you really are in for a treat.

According to Cheap Laptops the processor used is the 2.8GHz Intel Core2Duo, which works hard with the 4GB of RAM, you get a 200GB 7200rpm hard drive and the sexy NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT 512MB graphics card. The Evesham Zieo NX600-HDX has a 17-inch display that helps to show of the truly amazing graphics.

MSI GX700 Gaming Laptop

Acer Aspire 8930

As for the specs fo the Acer Aspire 8930, its a 18.4-inch that boasts Intel’s new Core 2 Quad Mobile Q9000 CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB 7200 SATA hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce 9700M GT graphics with 512MB of dedicated video memory. The Dell XPS M1530 gaming laptop comes with an Intel 2GHz Core 2 Duo T7250 processor, and 2GB of memory as standard. This is more than enough for most; however you can upgrade this if you are looking for even more power.

The Toshiba Qosmio WXW/79GW gaming laptop comes jam packed with the Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2GB of DDR3 memory. The laptop also comes with a 64GB SSD drive with a 160GB 7200 SATA hard drive. Other features include a 17 inch WSXGA+ (1,680×1,050), IGB of GeForce 9800M GTX graphics card, a 1.3MP camera, 4 in 1 card reader, HDMI out, USB, Firewire, WLAN, and a DVD super drive. What makes this gaming monster cool is that it comes with a flame design skin. The Toshiba 9800M GTX High End Gaming Laptop will be released in Japan next month with the SSD model selling for 348,000 Yen ($ 3500).

MSI has announced that they will be releasing an enhanced version of the GX-6000 gaming laptop. It now features 45nm processing technology, a RAM of up to 3GB, and the hard drive is 320GB, a Turbo button on the keyboard to increase the CPU speed by up to 20 percent, a Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT 3D chipset, 5.1 channel audio output, SPDIF and HDMI connections, a 15.4″ WXGA+ display, integrated bluetooth and 1.3 megapixel camera. No word on pricing or when this badboy will be available, so until then you’ll have to settle for the original GX-6000
